For more than thirty years the Tacoma Boxing Club has operated under the direction of Tom Mustin and fellow volunteer coaches. Over the years, thousands of young people have participated in the program and have been given the opportunity to develop personal abilities while overcoming challenges. Most of the participants in the program are inner city youth who have found in boxing the opportunity to learn discipline, fellowship and the benefits of commitment to learning and training.

The Tacoma Boxing Club is a world class boxing program with some of the world’s finest coaches and athletes. The club has gifted the community and nation with a US Olympic Coach and hundreds of national and international competitors. To date, the Tacoma Boxing Club has produced thirty-six national champions, eight amateur world champions, four Olympians and two professional world champions.
